+ What are the museum hours?
The Bix Beiderbecke Museum is open 10am-5pm Monday-Friday and 10am-2pm Saturday. It is open by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays as well. We will occassionally have special extended hours throughout the year.
+ Is the museum open on holidays?
The museum is closed New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It is open all other holidays.
+ How much does it cost to see the museum?
Admission to the museum is $8 for Adults; $5 for Seniors, Children 5-17, and Students; FREE for Children under 5, Museum Members, First Responders, Active Duty Military, and Veterans
+ How do I get to the museum?
+ Where can I park?
There is limited 2 hour parking spaces around the museum on Brady, Main, and 2nd streets. There is a no limit parking lot south of the museum on River Drive.
+ Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We are located on the first floor right off the street and tere are no stairs in the museum. The exhibition space keeps the walkways wide enough for those with mobility assistance.
+ Can I take pictures?
Non-commercial still photography is allowed inside the exhibition. The Bix Beiderbecke Museum just requests that guests refrain from using flash photography in order to preserve the museum's artifacts for future generations.
+ What are the general rules?
No food or drink is allowed inside the museum for any reason. Please do not touch the artifacts in the museum. Be respectful of other guests visiting the museum.
